| Web Launcher In the new version, web launches in Internet Explorer opens a new tab rather than a new window. Web Launcher Support for Windows 7 Fixed the issue where Web launcher was not launching on Internet Explorer 8 on Windows 7. Queue Detail Timestamp When your HUD client's language setting is set to "English(Australia)", your queue detail window's "Reset" timestamp will now show the correct date format: dd/mm/yy. Queue Agent Logout Reason In the new version, when hovering over the "Q" icon of a logged out agent, you can see their log out reason. HUD Chat Typing Status In the new version, the "Typing" chat status is only seen on the chat tab of the user that is typing. When viewing a different user's chat tab, you won't see other user's typing status. HUD Chat Copy To Text Editor When copying HUD chats to a text editor, HUD no longer adds an additional new line to all carriage returns/new lines in your text. Kicking Contact from the Conference Room Fixed the intermittent issue: when kicking a contact from a conference room using the chat window, then you are kicked from the conference and the contact is still in the conference. | Support for Linked Servers Users now have many functions across linked servers including: see call status of linked extensions, barge across linked server, view and join conference rooms on a linked server, retrieve calls parked by linked extensions, add linked extensions to your queue, and much more! Support for Microsoft Windows 7 The HUD client is now compatible with the Microsoft Windows 7 operating system. Support for Mac OSX Snow Leopard The HUD client is now compatible with the Mac OSX Snow Leopard operating system. HUDdy List The HUDdy List shows the people you contact the most. This list is stored on the server side. Locations When you select a location from the dropdown menu in your ME area of your HUD client, then all calls will be routed to that location. Locations are configured in the Web Admin Panel. Add to Conference From the Chat Window Need to start a conference room with the person you are chatting with? Clicking the conference icon in the chat window either starts a conference bridge with that person, or adds that person to your existing conference bridge. | Agent Log Out Reasons When an agent logs out of their queue, they must select a reason why they are logging off. These reasons are populated by the admin in the Web Admin Panel. These log out reasons are also displayed in the CDR keycode reports. Agent Per Queue Log Out Agents now have the ability to log out of individual queues. New Queue Statistics The queue detail window now includes additional statistics. "TTA SLA" (Time to Answer Service Level Agreement) is the number and percent of calls that are answered within a set amount of time. This time is set in the Web Admin Panel on a per queue basis. "Duration" is the duration of the active call. "Idle" is the time elapsed since the agent last took a call from any queue. "Calls" is the total number of calls the agent has taken since the stats were last reset. "Avg." is the average talk time per completed call for that agent. Permanent Agent Icon Permanent agents now have their own special "Q" icon, so call center managers can easily find their permanent agents in HUD. | Unread Chats When using Ctrl + tab to switch between chat tabs, when there are unread chats, the user sees the unread chat tabs first. Show Contact Card if HUD is not focused We added a new option, "Show Contact Card if HUD is not focused" in the File --> Settings --> Visual Settings page. Selecting this option allows Contact Cards to display when hovering over a contact, even if HUD is not in focus. Call When Free We added a new option, "Call When Free" in context menu in Contacts Component. This option is enabled for contacts who are on a call. When selected, you receive an alert to call the contact when the contact is off their call. Answering Calls While In a Conference Room When you are on a Conference call on line 1 and you try to answer an incoming call on line 2, the call on line 2 is dropped. This has been fixed. Now, when answering the call on line 2, your conference call on line 1 is disconnected. Broadcast Message When sending a broadcast message to your queue, you now also receive that broadcast message. Using ME Dialer To Add Someone To Your Conference You can now add people into your conference bridge by dialing their number into the ME dialer and clicking "Join" Maximizing HUD Components We fixed the way undocked components are maximized. Components now maximize across the screen, both vertically and horizontally. Deleting Voicemails On Mac OSX, when deleting a voicemail, the dialog telling users how to delete voicemails without a prompt is "Ctrl + Click", but that does not work. This is fixed, the keys are now "Command + Click". Adding Contacts Into a Conference Using Drag and Drop When dragging a contact into a conference bridge, we are now able to drag and drop a contact in the gray space below an active conference bridge. Outlook Synchronization If Outlook is installed on a computer, but has never been launched, HUD no longer tries to synchronize with Outlook. Number of Agents Talking The queue statistics on the bottom of the queue summary window and detail window now shows the total number of agents talking (on any call). The statistic originally only reported agents on queue calls. Additional Version Information The Help --> About window now shows your HUD edition, Server version, FONcore version, and Java version. "Edit Account Info" in the "My Web Launcher" Profile The "Edit account info" option as been added to the "My Web Launcher" profile. Call Recording Alert If you are being recorded by a person you can also record, you will receive a desktop alert notifying you that your call is being recorded by that person. Call Barged Alert If you are being barged by a person you can also barge or whisper, you will receive a desktop alert notifying you that your call is being barged by that person. | Barging Recorded Calls When a call that is being recorded is barged, the recording no longer stops. Dragging Calls From On Hold To Your Conference Room When placing a call on hold, then joining a conference room, you are now able to drag the caller from the on hold area to your conference room. Duration Variable in Web Launcher The call duration (%%duration%%) variable for the web launcher now matches the call duration in the HUD ME area. Adding Jabber Contacts When User 1 on HUD Server A tries to "Add external contact" using the Jabber ID of User 2 on HUD Server B, User 1 does not receive the invitation and is unable to chat with User 2. This is resolved. Retrieving Parked Calls Incoming queue calls that are parked using remote hard phones can now be retrieved from HUD. Answering Calls When On a Call Users are now able to answer a call when already on a call. Now, the first call goes On Hold, and the second call is answered. Conference Extension Numbers In Chat Window Conference room extension numbers now creates a hyperlink in the chat window. For example, when typing "8509" in a chat window, it becomes a link that calls the conference room when clicked. Call Parking Showing Incorrect Caller Name and Number When parking a call that has blocked CallerID, the call parking component displays the Caller Name and Caller Number of the previous call. This is fixed. Call Status Not Displaying We added fixes for the issue where HUD sometimes loses the call status of queue calls when that call is forwarded from another queue. HUD Client Disconnecting The HUD client no longer disconnects when receiving a call with a caller ID that includes a colon. Calls Not Displaying in On Hold Area We fixed the issue that when a call is forwarded to a virtual extension that forwards to a queue, when an agent answers the call and places the call on hold, the call disappears from the on hold area. Desktop Alert Not Showing On Blast Calls When connected on blast calls, HUD now shows the desktop alert. Incorrect Call Transfers When Using the ME Dialer When connected on a call, using the "Xfer" feature in the ME dialer transfers the ringing inbound call to the outbound destination. This has been fixed. Web Launcher Launching Additional "%" in URL When the weblauncher URL contains the "%" character, then the URL that is launched has an additional "%" added. This is fixed. Transferring Call To Yourself We fixed the issue where users cannot transfer an inbound ringing call to themselves, when that call is ringing two extensions at the same time using FindMe. | | | Voicemail | |
| Deleting Voicemails When deleting a voicemail from HUD Visual Voicemail, the voicemail wav file is now deleted from your local workstation. Transferred Voicemails Not Displaying in HUD When drag and drop transferring a voicemail from your voicemail component to the voicemail icon of another contact, the voicemail is transferred but it does not display in that contact's Voicemail component. Blast Group Calls Displaying the Caller-ID "Blast Queue" The caller-ID of blast group calls has been corrected to display the actual caller-ID rather than "Blast Queue". Unable to Poach Queue Calls We fixed the issue that prevented users from poaching queue calls that were transferred or forwarded to the queue. HUD Client Flashing in the Windows Taskbar The HUD client no longer flashes in the Windows taskbar for no reason. HUD Displaying Desktop Alert Saying Credentials are Incorrect Sometimes, the HUD client displayed the desktop alert notifying the user that their HUD credentials were incorrect, even though they were correct. | UAE Deal-Size Alert Displays Intermittently We fixed the issue that the UAE Deal-Size Alert did not always display in HUD. (Only applies to PBXtra Unified Agent customers). Chatting With External Contacts There were issues with not being able to chat with Gtalk Contacts. This has been fixed. Usernames Now Accepts Upper and Lowercase Characters We changed the HUD username to accept both upper and lower case characters, to be consistent with the usernames in the Control Panel. Contact Search Results Not Aligned When searching for a contact in the Contacts component, we fixed the bug that caused the contact blocks to not be properly aligned in the search results. FindMe Causes HUD Desktop Alert to Show They are Talking to "Unknown" When a call is forwarded to a mobile phone from FindMe, the caller's HUD desktop alert shows that they are speaking to "Unknown". This is now fixed. Chat Timestamps Shows the Incorrect Time Zone For some users, the chat timestamps were displaying the time of a different time zone. This has been fixed, HUD now reads the time from the user's local machine. Blast Group Calls Do Not Show as Ringing When phones in a blast group are being rung, these extensions do not show as ringing in the HUD contacts component. This has been fixed. | Photo Caller-ID HUD just got a facelift, errr a face. Once a user uploads their photo via the Web User Panel, you will now see their gorgeous mug whenever you interact with them in HUD (calling, conference, voicemail). In addition, we now support the Outlook 2007 photo feature to show pictures for calls to/from external numbers. Waaaaaay Better Mac Support Where do we start? Proper resizing, fast GUI including no more artifacts on drag, prevents user from dragging HUD out of view, much faster start-up time, Tiger support, Leopard support, proper docking, dock-bouncing on inbound chat, system bar support, system bar blinking on inbound chat, support for spaces, better focus support, prettier/cleaner font rendering, each HUD component acts as a separate application, and more! Command Line Options (Windows only)HUD 3.0 now comes with a Windows command line interface for interacting with 3rd party software. Busy Ring-Back™ (camping) Trying to call someone (using HUD) that is already on a call? You will now be given a choice to call them back when they are free, leave them a voicemail, or just be pushy and interrupt them right now, dang it, because that's just the way you roll. :) Multi-language Support HUD is now available in Spanish, French, Chinese, Japanese and Russian. Hot switch with a few clicks of the mouse. Just make sure you know the language so you can find your way back. :) Easy On-Hold Use shortcuts, or the new hold icon in "My Extension" (ME), to quickly place and retrieve held calls -- great for the busy receptionist. Multi-call Appearance HUD now properly displays multiple call appearances. Transfer a Call to your Mobile Ever been stuck on a call but you need to leave the office? You can now take the call with you by transferring the call to your own mobile phone! This feature can be found as an icon in your Desktop Alert or with a right click in ME. Answer the phone without touching (oh its maaaaagic) Click the new "Answer" icon on the Desktop Alert, or use the shortcut "Ctrl + Shift + A", to answer an incoming call without touching your phone. Keep 'dem fingers on the keyboard where I can see 'em, son! Group Intercom/Page/Voicemail We added the ability to intercom, page, or send a voicemail to an entire department in your HUD contacts. Set Custom Away Statuses In a meeting? Out to lunch? Spacing out? In love with your boss and don't know how to say it? Now you can set your own away messages. Busy (DND) Status When a user sets their status to "Busy (DND)", others will not be able to send the user any chat messages. When others attempt to call the user, they will be presented with the Busy Ring-Back™ Dialog. HUD Departments HUD Administrators can create Departments from the groups page of the Web Admin Panel, and place users into these departments. These departments appear in the Contacts component of HUD and cannot be deleted by users. Transfer Ringing Calls Users are now able to transfer a ringing call to themselves or to others. This requires FONcore™ fon-p or later. Visual Voicemail Wherever you HUD, there's your voicemail! The new visual voicemail component enables users to play, delete, and flag their voicemails, in addition to calling the user back, initiating a chat with the user, or adding the user to Outlook. HUD Voicemail also supports Photo Caller-ID, allowing you to see that befitting smirk while they are yelling at you. MWI Voicemail Icon In your My Extension area, the Message Waiting Indicator (MWI) voicemail icon will flash red when you have new voicemail messages. Voicemail Forwarding When you click on a voicemail in your Voicemail component, and drag & drop it to a contact in your Contacts component, a copy of the voicemail is forwarded to that contact's voicemail box. Voicemail Permission The permission "HUD - Check Voicemail" allows users to view the Voicemail component. Micro/Macro Shortcut Use a shortcut to go from micro to macro with HUD. Default is "Ctrl + Shift + M". Intercom Mode Users now have the option to automatically intercom contacts by default. This is enabled in the Call Control settings page in HUD. MSI Installer HUD is also available as an MSI installer file for IT administrators to distribute the HUD client software to their employees in an automated fashion. This allows IT administrators to install the HUD client software to all workstations from a centralized location in a Windows server environment. Mobile Presence Mobile presence provides a visual presence to other HUD users when a contact's cell phone is connected to the system. | Queue Summary Component (requires HUD Queues) The Queue Summary component shows a list of all queues on your server. You will have access to at-your-fingertips data such as number of calls holding, abandon rate, completion rate, number of agents on queue calls, number of agents logged in, and total number of agents belonging to the queue. Managers will also be able to view and poach holding calls. Queue Detail Component (requires HUD Queues) The Queue Detail component provides you a more detailed perspective on an individual queue. You will have access to real-time stats such as: abandon volume, abandon rate, complete volume, complete rate, and estimated hold time. The all-new agent view will show you a dynamically sorted list of the agents in that queue giving managers the ability to record, barge, or log agents in/out of the queue directly from this screen. Managers will also be able to view and poach holding calls. "No one is Answering" Alert (requires HUD Queues) After the queue has rung all available agents once, a "No one is answering this call" Desktop Alert appears on all participating managers or agent desktops visually alerting them that a caller is holding. This alert will display the holding time of the call that is not being answered. Abandoned Call Alert (requires HUD Queues) When a queue call is abandoned participating mangers or agents will receive a Desktop Alert informing them of such. Agent Broadcast Alerts (requires HUD Queues) Managers (with the permission "ACD/HUD -- Edit queues") now have the ability to send out broadcast messages to their agents. Get them to work harder or give them the day off, the power now rests in your click finger. Reset Queue Stats (requires HUD Queues) Users with the permission "ACD/HUD -- Clear queue stats" have the ability to reset queue stats, either from the Queue Summary component or the Queue Detail component. Call Recording When a queue call is scheduled to be recorded and the call is also recorded in HUD, we fixed the bug that caused two separate sound files to be recorded. Now, only one sound file is correctly recorded. Stuck Call States We fixed the bug, that sometimes, a user's call state will become stuck, so everyone sees that user as on a call.... forever. Chat History Exported In Reverse Order Exported chat history now displays in the proper order. Message Font Size After Installation After upgrading, HUD would show your previous chat conversations in a larger than normal font the very first time you viewed the conversation. Web Address Processing Does Not Highlight Last Character Pasting a web address with a space at the end of it caused the last character not to highlight when it was posted to chat. Web Address Processing Of Directories Fixed the issue preventing HUD from recognizing directories of web addresses. Switching Chat Tabs Did Not Scroll To Bottom Of Conversation If text was in the chat search, switching chat tabs did not automatically scroll you to the bottom of the conversation.
